Laura Lunansky is a distinguished Dutch/Argentinian violinist whose passion and curiosity for music have guided her through a rich and varied career. Embracing a wide range of musical styles, from historically informed performance practices to contemporary music and beyond, Laura's journey includes founding chamber music ensembles, producing interdisciplinary performances, and serving as a guest concertmaster with several orchestras. She has performed at numerous prestigious chamber music festivals, continually engaging and connecting with audiences and fellow musicians.

Her chamber music engagements include performances at prestigious festivals such as Musikdorf Ernen, International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht, Young Artist Festival Bonn, Grachtenfestival, Festival Classique, Mahler Academy, Holland Festival, Zeist Music Festival, and the String Quartet Biennale. She is also a scholarship holder at Villa Musica.

In addition to her festival appearances, Laura has held concertmaster and second violin leader roles with the Utopia Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, and O/Modernt Chamber Orchestra. Notably, she led the production of "Midsummer Night’s Dream," directed by Daria Bukvic, which featured collaborations with Introdans dancers and Oostpool actors, and toured over twenty cities with more than fifty performances.

As a multifaceted freelancer, Laura is regularly invited to perform with renowned ensembles and orchestras such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Lumaka, Ensemble Desiderio, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Balthasar Neumann Ensemble, Dresdner Festspielorchester, Ludwig Orchestra, and Asko|Schoenberg Ensemble.

From 2020 to 2024, Laura was the first violinist of the London-based Behn Quartet. She was also a founding member of the piano quintet 'de Formule' (2017-2023), which created interdisciplinary chamber music performances in collaboration with artists and organizations such as Samir Calixto, Kenza Koutchoukali, Harmos Festival, the European Chamber Music Association, and won the Rotterdam Chamber Music Prize.

Laura studied with Ilona Sie Dhian Ho, Peter Brunt, Philippe Graffin and Stephan Picard at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and has won second prize at the Prinses Christina Competition which took her on recital tours through Canada, Italy, Slovenia, Mexico and Croatia for the Dutch government.
