Born in 2002, Hana Chang has recently performed with orchestras including the Prague Radio Symphony, Baden-Baden Philharmonic, Czech Virtuosi, National Theater Orchestra, Hunan Symphony, Utah Symphony, Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, and Poznań Philharmonic. She has appeared at the Rockport, St. Wenceslas, Smetana Litomyšl, Deer Valley, Mladá Praha, Vevey Spring Classic, Sion, Solsberg, and Utrecht Chamber Music Festivals and is a laureate of the Stradivarius, Louis Spohr, Prague Spring, Stuttgart, and Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competitions. In 2023, she won the grand prize at the YCAT international auditions in London. Hana has been nominated as one of Classic FM’s Rising Stars of 2024 and, most recently, received a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship.

Hana is currently studying at Kronberg Academy with Christian Tetzlaff. These studies are funded by the Nikolas Gruber-Patronat. She continues to be mentored by Ida Kavafian and Janine Jansen, with whom she previously studied.

She plays on a 1647 Nicolo Amati violin, kindly on loan from the Rin Collection in Singapore.
